Nose

A beautiful pinky colour makes this instantly stand out. There’s a definite winey note here — more red and yellow wine gums than a glass of anything particular. There’s a touch of smoke, too.

Palate

Red fruits and dusty smoke dominate, with some candy sweetness in the background. With water, the smoke becomes more well rounded but a tad bitter.

Finish

Bold — really sticks to all sides of the tongue this one, both with and without water.

I was hoping for a little more depth with the fun colour.
