Nose

Tzatziki sauce with extra cucumber. Apple and custard, and chopped baked pears. Then slight ginger and vanilla begin to open up.

Palate

Apple pie with a drizzle of custard, as well as sticky toffee-coated apples. Ginger appears again. Chocolate-coated raisins and almond pastry (think cherry bakewell, without the cherry).

Finish

Short and smooth, with a lingering spiciness.

Comment

A really enjoyable whisky. If you like apples, you’ll want this coming out of your taps. Great stuff.
