Nose

So much caramel toffee here to begin — a cross between a freshly opened bag of Werther’s Originals and buttery caramel fudge.

Palate

Quite fragrant and sweet — again a lot of toffee, butterscotch, and caramel in all its forms. Then honeycomb and a bit of wax. With water it loses some of its complexity.

Finish

Hot and slightly bitter without water. With water, fairly drying and sharp.

Comment

I wanted more things to push through. It’s delightful to nose but felt a bit lacking on the palate.
