Nose

Sweet shop: pear drops, mint humbugs, orange wine gums, peachy foam sweets, even the wooden countertop in the store. Garibaldi biscuit (with raisins), oatmeal, and a hint of lemon curd.

Palate

Medium bodied. Vanilla sponge cake and thick, enveloping caramel sauce. Tinned peach and pear. Toasted tea cake, apple compote, and heathery honey. Woody cinnamon stick.

Finish

Medium. Woody spice and a hint of buttered toast with that honey.

Comment

Fruity and fun. A lovely layering of light and richer sweet notes.
