Nose

Creamy toffee and apples, with a hint of sea spray and lemons. Fresh like the breeze by the ocean, with a wonderful aromatic tint.

Palate

Slightly drier and nuttier on the palate than expected from the nose but a lovely weightiness to it. Good spice around the front of the tongue, and notes of hazelnuts, caramel, and clove.

Finish

A lot of prickle and a touch of wet cardboard.

Comment

A bright but full whiskey with lots of character — I want to be drinking it after a long walk by the seaside.
