Nose

Freshly polished wood, wax, and brown sugar to begin before some blackcurrant leaf and new oak.

Palate

Light and soft, with notes of sugar water, light soft brown sugar, bananas, and clove.

Finish

Gentle and doesn’t last long — a slight oakiness mid-palate a few seconds after the sip finishes.

Comment

A very drinkable dram if not terribly complex.
