Nose

Spicy initially — ground ginger, clove, cardamom, coriander, and black pepper. Salted butter. Prawn cracker. Creamy celeriac mash. Apple matchsticks. Vanilla latte. Caramelised hazelnut.

Palate

Medium. Dark chocolate-coated orange peel, dried fig, blackcurrant jam, and brandy snaps. Ginger and white pepper warmth. Applesauce and banana milkshake. Subtle ground coffee beans.

Finish

Medium-long, with menthol blackcurrant cough sweet and a little liquorice.

Comment

Very well-integrated alcohol, which allows the flavours to shine.
