Nose
As black as ink. Espresso,treacle and Jamaica ginger cake. Lightly sulphury/meaty. Masses of bitter chocolate with a slight smokiness.
Palate
Bitter chocolate,chicory and big tannins,A dried mint character is in there alongside the meaty/gravy browning notes. Water accentuates the tannins.
Finish
Tight. Cacao
