Taster

Nose: Malty. Biscuity. Oatcakes. Peaches in a light vanilla syrup.

Palate: Silky. Sweet malty notes with a freshly squeezed lemon juice. Coats the tongue but without being cloying. Creamy. Bourbon cream biscuits.

Finish: Dry and sherbety. A hint of almond in the back.

Comment: A lovely dram. Characterful and satisfying. For the adepts of slow drink. Water kills it.

Taster

Nose: Rich,muscular and heady with some marzipan,baked fruit,lime blossom. Shifts into fresh cut damp grass,then walnut and butter icing. Complex, becoming silkier.

Palate: Rounded and mouthfilling. Quite chewy and slightly sweet with hints of semi-dried fruits and even some banana. Chocolate. Good balance.

Finish: Minty and long.

Comment: Mature and elegant.
