Nose
Crisp oak and the suggestion of tannin. Assam tea and damp wool shifting into privet blossom and rice pudding skin. Slightly numb. Another which opens with water.
Palate
Soft and mouthfilling with mocha and toffee. Very soft with light grip. Slightly flat however.
Finish
Drying.
Comment
It’s a decent enough dram but just falls flat in the mouth. More alcohol would have helped methinks.
