Taster

Nose: Intense honey over baked apple. Plump sultanas, greengage and Mirabelle plum. Masses of Autumnal fruits. Butterscotch and vanilla fudge with cardamon.

Palate: Lovely texture like molten honey and toffee sauce. Red pear and glazed baked apples. Cedar wood shavings.

Finish: Sensationally silky and lingering.

Comment: A heart warming dram and well integrated as well.

Taster

Nose: Dry powder puffs and talcum powder some sweet root vegetables, backdropped with a waxy, oily note.

Palate: Now here’s a treat, delicious fruity blackberries, lemon zest, white chocolate, some lavender fresh plums and a touch of robust oak as well.

Finish: Tannic, very spicy and fruity.

Comment: The bold notes of the fruits work perfectly with the underlying wax and oak. Well done chaps.
