Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Taster

Nose: Light and delicate. A mouth-watering full basket of fruit. Pear, cherry, plum. Honey.

Palate: Does not deliver the delicacy of the nose. Sweetness ends up in softness. Pears in honey. A hint of toasted nuts.

Finish: Pleasantly dry. Soothing freshness.

Comment: Easy-going, fresh and fruity, but the palate does not reflect the liveliness of the nose.

Score: 7

Taster

Nose: Light and malty/mealy. Some citric notes (lemon/orange peel). Water opens up the nutty crackerbread maltiness alongside some dry grass and dried apple.

Palate: Soft with vanilla, malt, a light nuttiness and a soft mid-palate.

Finish: Soft and lightly fruity with a hint of chocolate.

Comment: Very clean, well-made and attractive.
