Quite nice despite being shy. In time evolves into a good solid dram.

Nose: A little sweet up front but seems to hold back a little, pears in syrup, beeswax, heather, fine grade leather, used horse riding tack and some drying wool. There’s a touch of dying ember too.
Palate: Plenty of vanilla fudge and then into the sweetness of raspberry jam. It is still waxy and sweet with mango flesh.
Finish: Long and chalky peppered with cinnamon and a little ginger powder.
Comment: Quite nice despite being shy. In time evolves into a good solid dram.

Nose: It’s literally like someone stuck raspberries and spice mix into a massive bowl of Playdoh! Soft and creamy with sea salt milk chocolate, coconut fudge and hot clay.
Palate: The creaminess on the nose carries through, but with sharp bursts of pink grapefruit zest, cherry cola bottles, roasted hazelnuts and rosemary salted chips.
Finish: Interesting tingly finish on an otherwise creamy number.
Comment: It's The Nutty Professor.
Score: 8.4
