A belter beside last embers of a log fire.
15 Years Old
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Delicate malt-wood style, highly concentrated form. Butterscotch, apples, vanilla.
Palate: Big with immediate dry oakiness that is softened only by the flowering of the malt.
Finish: Bourbony notes towards finish, which remains dry and delicately spiced.
Comment: A belter beside last embers of a log fire.
Nose: Cinnamon. Spiciness. Sea air.
Palate: Smooth, sweet, slightly syrupy. Walnuts.
Finish: Appetisingly spicy. Some salt.
Comment: If you like the classic flavours of the 10 Years Old but find it a bit light, this range-filler is for you.
