Great interplay between the spices and that yeasty note. Moreish too.

Nose: Lovely and rich with some digestive biscuits and warming baker’s yeast. Then violets, daffodils and honeysuckle. Plump raisins soaked in sherry, maraschino cherry and red vermouth.
Palate: Rich and warming. Orange barley sugar cordial, then vanilla cream cakes. There’s fresh sourdough bread note. Ends with a hint of spearmint.
Finish: Long and lingering, damp soil and then a drying chilli prickle hits.
Comment: Great interplay between the spices and that yeasty note. Moreish too.

Taster
Nose: A bakery filled with chocolate brioche buns, chargrilled soda bread, almond butter and lemon curd. Raspberry compote, beetroot and maraschino cherries.
Palate: Mint choc chip ice cream, Lyle’s sticky gingerbread cake and freshly baked almond croissants mixed in with parma violets, Cola, nougat and poached plums.
Finish: Orange marmalade on toast creates a bitter but dry quality to the finish.
Comment: If you were to add synths to the blues…
