Nose

Baked oranges, wood spice, then some strawberry laces, juicy raspberries, and vanilla.

Palate

This bursts immediately with lots of lovely fruit: tropical (mango, guava) to begin with, then strawberries and blackberries. Toffee, vanilla, and marshmallows follow.

Finish

Medium length, with a woodiness from the cask that is left on the palate, and a tinge of bitterness.

Comment

A full, fun whisky: rich, fruity, without being too bold. Nice amount of alcohol to lift the sweetness.
