Nose

Nice butter and baked pastry notes to start, then some vanilla and lemon zest.

Palate

Toasted nuts, caramel, all butter pastry, lemon peel, and honey with just a touch of spice later on.

Finish

Medium length with a grassy bitterness that comes out a little after the sip finishes.

Comment

A well-balanced if not incredibly exciting whisky that would please a wide audience.
