Nose

Very floral, like dried flowers, with candied citrus peels. Caramel and a hint of struck match. Fresh rosemary, celery tops, and parsley. Baked stone fruit, damson jam, and powdered ginger.

Palate

Full. Ginger cake, caramel, sherried raisins, and hints of new leather. Duck with plum sauce. Blackcurrant jam, black peppercorn, and orange-flavoured milk chocolate. Slight smokiness remains.

Finish

Long, on floral black tea and buttered fruit loaf. Final notes of sweet oak.
