Tasting Notes

Nose

A very heavy looking dram in the glass — dark and rich. Immediate notes of wood polish, old books, black cherries, and Seville orange marmalade. Some nutmeg too.

Palate

Drying, with lots of concentrated fruit: glacé cherries and orange peel, then black liquorice and treacle. Cinnamon comes through.

Finish

Lengthy. This really sticks to the gums.

Comment

A big, chewy, concentrated dram with lots going on.
