Nose

Soft and gentle. A little ash-laden and has this great smoked note. A cooling log fire then a touch of sweetness with cantaloupe melon and smoked ham. A hint of blue cheese too.

Palate

Oily and very clingy. Smoke well to the front of this. Standing in a ploughed field, so earthy. The fruitiness of olive oil and some gentle spice hits. A touch of saline.

Finish

Sweet and smoky. The liquid form of a smoked bacon sandwich and brown sauce. Delightful.
