Nose: Sweet (hey, there's a theme here) and even sweeter with water. Butterscotch, stewed rhubarb, macaroon bar/coconut and a light crisp nuttiness.
Palate: Rounded. Toffee and malt, macadamia nuts playing against concentrated red fruits.
Finish: Sweet and soft.
Comment: Decent, but only for those with a sweet tooth.

Taster
Nose: Sweet smokiness. A breakfast malt, with sweetcure bacon?
Palate: Seems empty at first. Flavours take a very long time to emerge. Creamy malt; long, lingering sweetness. Late, very restrained oak.
Finish: Restrained spiciness. Lingering warmth.
Comment: More Imperial than Port. With or without Port, I would like to see more Imperial.
Score: 7.8
