Taster

Nose: Tangy. Green oak. Fresh sawdust. Smells young like new spirit. A hint of toffee.

Palate: Smooth,mellow and sweet. And the same youth impression. Grainy with a bitter taste.

Finish: Dry,bitter and rather short.

Comment: Grain overwhelms malt. And the young character of that whisky does not impress much.

Taster

Nose: Sweet with a toasty note. Digestive biscuits, weetabix and creamy oak.

Palate: Gentle with a syrupyquality. Light but good and much sweeter than the nose implies.

Finish: Discreet and short.

Comment: Does exactly what it sets out to do.
