Not even a whispering whisky. Almost silent! I appreciate light delicate whiskies but there is a limit to self-effacing characters!

Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Light, restrained. A very pale colour. Distant grassy notes. Cereals. Hint of\rvanilla and burnt sugar.
Palate: Sweet and flowing. Light in body, light in flavours. Vanilla syrup. Touch of pear nectar as well.
Finish: Quickly fading, almost absent.
Comment: Not even a whispering whisky. Almost silent! I appreciate light delicate whiskies but there is a limit to self-effacing characters!
Nose: Buttered malt loaf, light pipe tobacco, syrup waffles, varnished wood and\rcoconut macaroons. A little cider apple jelly and plump raisins.
Palate: Gentle spices grip the palate, cumin, paprika and ginger. A touch of dark\rchocolate bitterness tempered with honey sweetness.
Finish: Sharp, clean and swift.
Comment: The nose does not give much away but the palate is delightful. Lovely stuff.
