Nose

Lots of lemon and toffee to start, then of sea salt and some tinned pears.

Palate

A hint of ashy smoke lingers at the base, then pear drops, vanilla, and lemon cake.

Finish

Warming tingle at the front of the tongue along with a touch of aspartame sweetness.

Comment

Well-balanced and pleasant whisky — could have had a bit more oomph on the palate but enjoyable nonetheless.
