Nose

Lots of pear drop, elderflower, Pink Lady apple and gentle woodsmoke. Delicate lemon and lime and a whiff of eucalyptus.

Palate

Light bodied and rather delicate. White grape up front, with a little peppermint and applewood-smoked Wensleydale with apricot pieces. Iced sweet vanilla bun. A little chalky toward the end.

Finish

Medium-short. The vanilla icing lingers on, as does that unusual, but pleasant, hint of chalk.

Comment

Easy going. One to convert those usually averse to peat.
