Nose

A bright, inviting whisky with notes of lemon curd, crème pâtissière, vanilla bean custard, and later some strawberry foams.

Palate

More of that citrus note pops through on the palate but with grapefruit pith and some juicy clementine as well. It’s fairly hot for its ABV but a nice creamy sweetness balances that out.

Finish

A touch of green-chilli spice and a medium-length finish.

Great nose and just good fun — felt like I could open this up at a barbecue for those totally new to whisky.
