ABV 46.2%
It’s an unexpected array from the off, but it really hits the spot. Complex, fun and making me think of spring.

Nose: Malted milk biscuits, mango chutney, green apple skins and a red berry compote drizzled over panna cotta, barley sugar and Horlicks, with some wild flower pollen.
Palate: A little musty, then more Horlicks, dry nutmeg, pea shoots, lemon drops, more floral notes, leaning towards geraniums. Candied fruits and sweet spice.
Finish: Relatively drying but leaves with that note of pollen and warmth.
Comment: It’s an unexpected array from the off, but it really hits the spot. Complex, fun and making me think of spring.

Taster
Nose: Mango chutney and poppadum. Subtle cardamom and a bowlful of berries: raspberry, blackberry, and strawberry. Hayloft and sweet mash. Violin rosin, tomato stem and Kaffir lime.
Palate: Those juicy fruit notes are back in abundance. Well-integrated flavours of fruit salad with red grape and ripe honeydew joining those mentioned above.
Finish: Medium length and gently drying. Cream cracker and more chutney.
Comment: Great flavours, good structure. I’d buy this.
Score: 8.6
