Taster

Nose: A waxy quality with gentle notes of chocolate powder, smoke and some burnt oak. A little citrus as well.

Palate: Smooth, mellow. Red fruits and a caramel sugar sweetness to it.

Finish: Luxurious and a little bitter.

Comment: An excellent whisky, well put together.

Nose: Ripe soft and pillow like with hints of smoke and toasty wood.Citrus leaf, cocoa, cooked apricot, ripe banana, hazelnut giving a crunch.

Palate: Toffee sweetness stretches along the palate. Very clean and clear. Sweet with sultana, cherry.

Finish: Long and silky.

Comment: Relaxed and laid back. This is excellent blending.

Score: 8.5
