Taster

Nose: Malty and oaky. Brown bread. Opening on fruit notes. Peaches in tin. Gingerbread. Cinnamon stick.

Palate: Sweet at first. Followed by a spicy outburst. Treacle, demerara sugar, vanilla syrup, ginger and cinnamon.

Finish: Dry and spicy. Warm.

Comment: A spicy character. The high strength is not easy to master. Water tones it down but it also takes some of the flavours off.

Taster

Nose: Very fruity at first, peaches, apricots in syrup, a little kiwi fruit. Then a maltiness comes through, vanilla sugar.

Palate: Sweet, golden syrup and sugar cane then an intense spice burst, apple pie,\rBig Red chewing gum.

Finish: Really spicy and comforting.

Comment: Young but with great character.
