Rich vanilla and bourbon candy, chewy fruit and wispy smokiness.

Palate

Quite delicate and not as sweet as some American whiskeys, with apple and pear fruits, vanilla and candy, but with some astringency.

Finish

More a whimper than a scream. Delicate, with traces of oak and spice at the end.

Comment

A rye blend, eh? Explains the gentle landing. But this works very well indeed.
