Taster

Nose: Dense and thick with heady floral notes and leather book bindings. Citrus from orange marmalade, trail mix with chocolate buttons, rum and raisin ice cream.

Palate: Creamy and really full-on hot chocolate with cinnamon, chilli and melting marshmallows. Fruit and nut bars. Cherry compote with maple granola.

Finish: Short and full of spice, a very gentle hint of smoke.

Comment: Perfect pre-dinner dram to ease and soothe the day’s problems. Very lovely.

Taster

Nose: What begins quite floral quickly becomes rich and decadent with aromas of walnut shells, cherry flesh, dark chocolate shavings, and polished leather.

Palate: Bitter walnut skin and heavenly Black Forest gateau, with a side helping of salted caramel crunchie-peppered chocolate.

Finish: Zingy and earthy. Polished wood, liquorice and clove.

Comment: Decadent and indulgent. Pour me another please.
