Beach bonfire time again. The nose only gives a hint of the peat in there that is unleashed eventually. Morish indeed.

Nose: Stacks of vinyl records, dusty paper and a little plastic wrapping paper. Some menthol, with leather jackets and a waxy pomade note. Slowly becomes medicinal in a whole apothecary shop way. Leaf mulch here too and a meaty edge.
Palate: Black cherry compote, then waves of sweetness come through, then it goes all waxy and leathery.
Finish: Layers of peat, saline and smoky.

Taster
Nose: A little bit acetone-like, perhaps black forest desert. Goes earthy and damp afterwards.
Palate: Rich chocolate mousse, glacé cherries and a whiff of floral peat in the background.
Finish: A little bit of spice just finishes this one off. Cinammon, cloves, and your lunch-box raisin pack.
Comment: A little festive treat, for those who truly do wish it could be Christmas everyday...
Score: 7.9
