Nose

Fairly soft for a bourbon — there’s a little spice but mostly just a pillowy sweetness: marshmallow, liquorice, and Coca Cola.

Palate

Lots of nuts to start: peanuts and then hazelnut brittle. Some milk chocolate and vanilla too, with a touch of menthol.

Finish

Drying, but not overly — a bit of woodiness towards the end of a medium-length finish.

Comment

A slow sipper this one — really well integrated oak and quite gentle, but not as punchy as some might be used to for this category.
