Palate: Soft and generous with gentle chewy, creamy mouthfeel and understated spiciness. Sweet oak. Bursts into life towards the finish.

Finish: Nutmeg, vanilla. Pleasantly dry.

Comment: A fine elegant whisky. The broadest and softest of the flight but with its own subtle complexity.

Taster

Nose: Malty, biscuity. Dry hay. Honeysuckle. Thyme. Summer fruit. Touch of lemon. Fresh and clean.

Palate: Smooth, with a gentle crispy feel. Muesli with nuts and raisins. Lemon curd.

Finish: Rather short. Fruit and malt sweetly keep keeping on.

Comment: A wee cracker. Nothing sophisticated. Clean, straight and well combined. Quite cheering.
