Nose
A slightly sharp note of dusty lemon sherbet to start — like it’s been crumbled and powdery. A bit of marzipan and lemon peel, then sea salt.
Palate
Much silkier on the palate than anticipated — it has a lovely soft texture, with notes of lemon cake, vanilla bean, banana chips, and then a faint hint of rubber.
Finish
Spicy at the front of the tongue and fairly long lasting, with a slight hint of new make as it fades.
Comment
This needs a bit of time in the glass. Pleasantly surprising.
