Nose

Very delicate, with initial hints of butterscotch that’s been warmed by the sun. Slightly waxy, but a bit shy in the glass.

Palate

Flutters across the palate, creamy and toffeed. Nice bit of spice alongside vanilla bean ice cream.

Finish

Grassy bitterness comes out to play after the sip dissipates. Clings on longer than you’d expect, given its delicacy.

Comment

A pleasant enough whisky, one to have before a meal or any strong-flavoured foods.
