Nose
Pencil shavings and teak oil. Blue cheese and cream cracker. Subtle musty lavender. Vanilla-flavoured rice pudding. A hint of white grape and, with time, ripe peach (more skin than flesh).
Palate
Medium. Overripe strawberry, golden raisin, white chocolate, a little orange liqueur, and raw white mushroom. Rich caramel that almost reaches toffee, fresh espresso, and old bookshelves.
Finish
Long. Dusty floral notes, including chamomile, and manuka honey.
Comment
There are a lot of lovely things going on here. Eminently sippable.
