Nose

Dried apple skins and a hint of roasted sweet potato. Canvas, PVA glue, and salted caramel fudge. With time, vanilla, plum, and amaretti biscuit.

Palate

Medium bodied. A burst of fruit comes forward – mango, papaya, overripe peach – with toffee apple, whipped cream, and crumbled ginger cake. Sweetened espresso. Then the apple note returns, with well-done white toast.

Finish

Medium-long, on apple and a little more salted caramel.

Comment

The palate revealed some tasty complexity.
