Nose

Herbaceous at first, with a note of hot tyre rubber. Slight barbecued pineapple and a little pork fat. Bright grain notes, like freshly harvested barley. A hint of lemon peel.

Palate

Medium. Golden syrup and sliced ripe pear, with a hint of pear drop and lemon boiled sweets. Oat cracker. Wholewheat bread with sage butter. Crunchy, green note of parsley stalk underneath.

Finish

Medium. Herbal notes turn to green tea with honey.

An enticing swing from savoury, to sweet, then back to savoury.
