Tasting Notes

Nose

Amarena cherries in syrup, blackberry jam, liquorice, eucalyptus oil, and Jamaican ginger loaf. Plum and raspberry jam, bruised strawberry, and flapjack. Milk chocolate and a whiff of varnished mahogany. Unlit Maduro cigar.

Palate

Medium-full. Super-juicy fruits of the forest, subtle liquorice, black cherry jam, tobacco. Just a hint of sage and pistachio. A wine-y note, like syrah.

Finish

Long, on blackcurrant and pistachio.

Comment

A wonderfully integrated marriage of spirit and oak. Delicious.
