ABV 40%
Pretty warming and lush with layer upon layer of sweetness. Would say one for the sweet-toothed for sure.

Nose: Sweet at the beginning, lots of honeycomb and black treacle spice notes. Moves into cocoa and almost a Horlicks maltiness. Plenty of dried fruits with milk chocolate granola.
Palate: Hits with a breakfast cereal sweetness, with warm milk and brown sugar. There’s a little chewing gum menthol here too.
Finish: Warm and a little spirity, but full of vanilla and stewed apple.
Comment: Pretty warming and lush with layer upon layer of sweetness. Would say one for the sweet-toothed for sure.

Taster
Nose: Fragrant and fruity like opening a sweetie cupboard that’s filled with pear drops, Refreshers, apple laces, coconut fudge and a rogue bag of dried basil.
Palate: The fruits linger around the front of the tongue, but are quickly overtaken with spicy, woody notes of sandalwood, chewed tobacco, prawn crackers and shaved ginger.
Finish: Surprisingly chewy in texture, with an oiliness also coating the palate in time.
Comment: A mixed but balanced bag of huge and delightful flavours.
Score: 8.4
