Nose

There’s a nice pineapple ice cream note to start here, then some wood sap and vanilla with a touch of cough syrup.

Palate

Fairly drying and nutty — lots of peanut skin — then toffee and liquorice.

Finish

Becomes richer and drier on the finish — dark brown sugar and spice leading to an oaky cask note.

Comment

Pleasant enough but becomes a bit too dark and woodsy at the end for me.
