Taster

Nose: Soft but insistent. Sweet then dry. Burnt brown sugar and charcoal. Slightly less overt charcoal-phenol than the regular Jack Daniel's.

Palate: Smooth. Very toasty. Dryish start, but becoming surprisingly sweet. Spicy. Syrupy background.

Finish: Cinnamon. Lemons.

Comment: A slightly richer and more restrained interpretation of Jack Daniel's.

Taster

Nose: A tell-tale roasty JD nose, but all gently done and laid back.

Palate: A dry kick off, swiftly develops a lovely, clingy sweetness, and that ever-present liquorice.

Finish: Remarkably demure for a JD but the rising sweetness gives way to a drier slightly burnt-sugary character.

Comment: Gentleman by name and nature, it lacks the usual JD firepower but retains house character.
