Nose

Cream cheese, buttermilk instantly. Moves into vanilla territory. Haybarns, grass cuttings – dusty, malty, slightly vegetal, and lime marmalade.

Palate

Dry, herbal, and very leafy. Oily spirit with green apples and honey. Cheesecake, with ginger, creme brûlée. Dustiness returns, with candied fruits and lemon juice.

Finish

Feints showing, buttermilk returns, with green tea and floral honey.

Comment

Summer on the farm. Questionable casks, but the underlying spirit is lovely.
