I know, I know - it's a Lowland! Still, I want a little more from a whisky. Full stop.

Taster

Nose: Cress, Jif lemon, pizza dough, bran and wet grass. Lemon pith.

Palate: Spirity, sweet and a little bland. A faint woodiness at the end.

Finish: Largely absent, but a soggy biscuit character.

Comment: I know, I know - it's a Lowland! Still, I want a little more from a whisky. Full stop.

Score: 6.8

Taster

Nose: A quite distant, slightly lean, unformed nose. Sugared almond, fondant icing, pear drop, muddy field, peanut skin.

Palate: Fine-boned and intense. Good quite vibrant, youthful feel. Alcohol.

Finish: Very short.

Comment: Not much interaction between spirit and wood immature. Light and clean but lacking in oomph.
