Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Big and rich with lots of oily, beeswax and polish notes up front. Then moves to warming and melting full fat butter. Slowly this turns to toffee. There are hints of sherry spices, stewed dark fruits, cinnamon and dried herbs.

Palate: Thick with Golden syrup and butterscotch sauce. Dark fruits play with the vanilla oak spices. Then hints of gentle smoke, tobacco pouches with old Latakia leaves. Crushed fennel and coriander seeds.

Finish: Vanilla oak and raspberry compote.

Comment: This doesn’t disappoint at all.

Taster

Nose: A light and airy blend with toasted marshmallows, peardrops and pickled strawberries. Full on citrus with lime jellies and grapefruit zest.

Palate: The treacle tones carry through. Rich and meaty with dark chocolate covered coffee beans, soft leather and peanut butter. Hints of dried cranberries create a sweeter layer.

Finish: Arguably a little chalky towards the end with a tangy sweetness.

Comment: Getting a massage whilst in your comfort blanket. Just hits all the right spots at the right time. Easy.
