ABV 66.25%
The ABV does really rule the roost, however, when it calms down it is smooth and interesting.

Nose: Intriguing slightly meaty notes layered on barbeque coals, then crème caramel, chalkboard chalk, and a newly oiled leather sofa. There’s some ginger spice and a touch of hazelnut.
Palate: More of the crème caramel sweetness, an iced latte with hazelnut milk. Fresh vanilla custard and some sherried jammy notes.
Finish: Milk chocolate and hazelnut make their way out of the heat.
Comment: The ABV does really rule the roost, however, when it calms down it is smooth and interesting.

Taster
Nose: An intense aroma of Ribena (blackcurrant cordial) and coffee with condensed milk. Then comes the spicy zing of barbeque sauce. Water is needed to tame this and with that comes nutmeg and cinnamon.
Palate: Coffee liqueur, toffee, milk chocolate, hickory and Brazil nut. Has quite a kick to it.
Finish: Medium-short and hot. With water the heat diminishes and allows those caramels to linger.
Comment: Takes some taming. Once under control it’s simple and pleasant enough. I’d like to try this in an Old Fashioned.
Score: 7.4
