Taster

Nose: Blackcurrant jam, lime juice, and chamomile tea with jasmine. Under this, milk chocolate-coated biscuits and a touch of olive oil-drizzled focaccia.

Palate: Medium bodied. Creamy vanilla pudding poured over a medley of mandarin and baked banana, with a foundation of sweet cereal notes, like malted milk and digestive biscuit.

Finish: Long. The biscuit note becomes sweetened wholemeal bread and butter.

Comment: A fruity Speyside style backed by some weighty oiliness – lovely stuff.

Score: 8.0

Taster

Nose: Fresh hay and tinned sweetcorn. Seville orange marmalade, pollen, and a hint of Angostura bitters. Elderflower cordial. Cinnamon stick and green peppercorn.

Palate: Medium-full bodied. Very soft mouthfeel. Crème caramel and ripe, honeyed peach slices. Almond frangipane. Soft hay. Farley’s rusk, clove, and a hint of condensed milk.

Finish: Medium-long. Sweet corn with oaky tannins and a little milk chocolate.

Comment: A delicately complex and enjoyable flavour profile.
