Nose

Malty, leathery with some soft fruit and a slightly feinty note. Water brings out smoky notes oak, vanilla.

Palate

Some smokiness here as well though a fairly dry mid-palate. Water thins it very disappointingly.

Finish

A little feinty.

Comment

Disappointing. Seems to have the elements of a good whisky but nothing has knitted.
