Nose: Subtle sherry notes, chocolate covered raisins and hot brown toast. Spicy notes, notes of lime pickle, red wine vinegar, grapefruit juice and sugar, black tea leaves left in the pot warming.
Palate: Lots of sweetness but with a lovely bitter nutty edge. Almond skins, Brazil nuts coated in hard candy. A little coffee latte to it, almond milk and macadamia nut.
Finish: Dries nicely and slowly with nut and raisin chocolates.
Comment: Another well turned out and balanced Taiwanese whisky. Great stuff indeed.

Taster
Nose: Lots of stewed fruits; raspberries, strawberries and blackcurrants. A little spice, before you're in fruit and nut chocolate bars.
Palate: A very gentle, sweet start with a caramel core. More of the fruit from that chocolate bar.
Finish: Very long and completely nutty. I think we have the full fruit and nut experience going on with this one.
Comment: Really tasty. Great stuff, well put together and flavours balanced nicely.
Score: 8.6
