Nose

Subtle sherry notes, chocolate covered raisins and hot brown toast. Spicy notes, notes of lime pickle, red wine vinegar, grapefruit juice and sugar, black tea leaves left in the pot warming.

Palate

Lots of sweetness but with a lovely bitter nutty edge. Almond skins, Brazil nuts coated in hard candy. A little coffee latte to it, almond milk and macadamia nut.

Finish

Dries nicely and slowly with nut and raisin chocolates.

Comment

Another well turned out and balanced Taiwanese whisky. Great stuff indeed.
